AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Praxisfera: Journal of Education and Community Learning

Authors are invited to submit original scholarly manuscripts relevant to the focus and scope of Praxisfera: Journal of Education and Community Learning. Manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

1. Types of Manuscripts

Praxisfera accepts:

  • Original Research Articles;
  • Literature Review Articles;
  • Conceptual Articles;
  • Case Studies;
  • Research and Development (R&D) Articles;
  • Community-Based Research Articles.

2. Manuscript Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear and academically appropriate English.

3. Manuscript Structure

Research articles should generally include:

  1. Title;
  2. Author Name(s);
  3. Institutional Affiliation;
  4. Corresponding Author Information;
  5. Abstract;
  6. Keywords;
  7. Introduction;
  8. Methods;
  9. Results;
  10. Discussion;
  11. Conclusion;
  12. Acknowledgments, if applicable;
  13. Author Contributions, if applicable;
  14. Funding Statement, if applicable;
  15. Conflict of Interest Statement;
  16. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Statement, if applicable;
  17. References.

The structure may be adjusted according to the type and methodology of the manuscript.

4. Title

The title should be concise, informative, specific, and clearly reflect the content of the manuscript. The title should generally not exceed 15–20 words and should avoid unnecessary abbreviations.

5. Abstract

The abstract should be concise and informative, generally containing:

  • Background or research context;
  • Research objective;
  • Research method;
  • Main findings;
  • Conclusion.

The abstract should generally contain 150–250 words.

6. Keywords

Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main concepts of the manuscript. Keywords should be written in English and separated by commas.

7. Introduction

The Introduction should present:

  • The background and context of the study;
  • The research problem;
  • Relevant previous studies;
  • The research gap;
  • The research objectives or questions;
  • The significance or contribution of the study.

The Introduction should be supported by relevant and up-to-date scholarly references.

8. Methods

The Methods section should provide sufficient information about:

  • Research design and approach;
  • Research setting and participants or data sources;
  • Sampling techniques, where applicable;
  • Data collection procedures;
  • Research instruments;
  • Data analysis techniques;
  • Ethical considerations, where applicable.

The methodology should be described clearly and systematically.

9. Results

The Results section should present the main findings of the research clearly and systematically.

Tables, figures, charts, and other visual materials may be used where appropriate. Authors should avoid presenting the same information repeatedly in both the text and tables or figures.

10. Discussion

The Discussion should:

  • Interpret the research findings;
  • Relate the findings to relevant theories and previous studies;
  • Explain similarities and differences with previous research;
  • Discuss the implications and contributions of the findings.

The Discussion should not merely repeat the Results section.

11. Conclusion

The Conclusion should:

  • Address the research objectives;
  • Summarize the main findings;
  • Present the main contribution and implications of the research.

New data or arguments should not be introduced in the Conclusion.

12. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must:

  • Be numbered consecutively;
  • Have clear and informative titles;
  • Be referred to in the main text;
  • Be relevant to the research;
  • Be of sufficient quality and readability;
  • Include appropriate sources where necessary.

Authors must ensure that all visual materials are original or properly cited and permitted for use.

13. Citations and References

Authors should use APA Style, 7th Edition for citations and references.

Authors must ensure that:

  • Every source cited in the manuscript appears in the reference list;
  • Every reference listed is cited in the manuscript;
  • References are accurate and complete;
  • Relevant and credible scholarly sources are used;
  • DOI information is included where available.

The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is recommended.

14. Manuscript Formatting

Authors must follow the official manuscript template provided by Praxisfera: Journal of Education and Community Learning.

Manuscripts should:

  • Follow the prescribed format and layout;
  • Use consistent headings and subheadings;
  • Apply APA 7th Edition citation and reference style;
  • Format tables and figures appropriately;
  • Be submitted in an editable document format.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official journal template.

15. Author Information

All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the research and manuscript.

The submission should include:

  • Full name of each author;
  • Institutional affiliation;
  • Country;
  • Email address;
  • Corresponding author information.

All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

16. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Statement

Authors must disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of their manuscripts when applicable.

AI tools may be used for language editing, grammar correction, translation, formatting, or improving readability. However, AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and final content of the manuscript.

Authors must disclose the AI tool used and its purpose.

Example:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Statement: During the preparation of this manuscript, the authors used [name of AI tool] for [describe the purpose, such as language editing, grammar checking, translation, or improving readability]. The authors reviewed and edited all AI-assisted content and take full responsibility for the final content of the manuscript.

If no AI tools were used:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Statement: The authors declare that no artificial intelligence tools were used in the preparation, writing, analysis, or revision of this manuscript.

AI tools must not be used to fabricate or manipulate research data, results, citations, references, or other research evidence.

17. Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere;
  • The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to another journal;
  • The manuscript is relevant to the journal's Focus and Scope;
  • The manuscript follows the official journal template;
  • The manuscript is written in appropriate academic English;
  • All sources cited in the text are included in the reference list;
  • All references listed are cited in the text;
  • Tables and figures are properly numbered and cited;
  • All authors have approved the final manuscript;
  • AI use has been disclosed, where applicable;
  • The manuscript has been carefully checked before submission.
